The North East Development Commission (NEDC) on Monday donated mattresses to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and food items to the Federal High Court in Yola.
Mr Khalifa Lawan, NEDC’s Coordinator in Adamawa, said the gesture was in line with the commission’s vision of uplifting communities and strengthening institutions that play vital roles in the development of the North East.
He reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to supporting institutions and promoting community welfare.
Mrs Caroline Chinedu, Adamawa NYSC Coordinator, commended the NEDC for prioritising the welfare of corps members, saying the donation would improve their living and working conditions.
Mr Musa Audu, Registrar of the Federal High Court, also expressed appreciation, saying the support was timely and impactful.
