NEKEDE DECLARATION: Stakeholders Direct Voters To Vote En-Masse Governor Hope Uzodinma On 11-11 Guber Election

At a stakeholders meeting held at the residence of ELDER ANTHONY AJOKU TACCO, across political parties in Nekede Owerri Imo state, the final resolution was sealed to vote en-masse for Governor Hope Uzodinma on the upcoming Saturday Governorship Election.

The meeting was convened by Elder Anthony TACCO Ajoku at his Umuezerokam country residence Thursday, few days to the election proper.

The turn out of Nekede people was massive to establish a united declaration agreed upon to vote en-masse Governor Uzodinma.

Stakeholders, political party leaders and adherent membership of APC, PDP, APGA, LP, AA, ZP amongst others all the town Chairmen, Youth leaders, women groups, students group, barracks community and stranger elements had a YES Vote of confidence on Governor Hope Uzodinma and vowed to deliver his re-election mandate in Nekede and Owerri West at large.

Recall that a similar meeting was sometime called by Elder Chime in Nekede where participants discussed at length the way to better Nekede and proffered possible ways to attract the face of Imo state government to consolidate the gains of existing cordiality and good governance by the 3R administration.

Other Leaders are keen to this course to bring the dividends of CHARTER OF EQUITY to Nekede and Owerri Zone at large through the Re-Election bid of Governor Hope Uzodinma.

9News Nigeria reports that Nekede people have decided to give their bulk votes to Governor Hope Uzodinma of All Progressives Congress APC party to attract the Prosperity of the CHARTER OF EQUITY and more developments in the area as our correspondent reports.

The demands by Nekede people from the government included good roads, reinforcement of Nmiri Nkwoahia link bridge for easy connectivity to the three large autonomous communities and in extension the police training school axis down to Ihiagwa.

The leaders frowned at these bedevilling challenges inspite large expanse of land Nekede people have out to the State government.

Recall that several higher institutions, Police training college, ADC, Police community are situated in the area.

In this regard, the Nekede nation have requested for peaceful settlement of lands matters in the area and the inclusivity of their people to the government of day. This will certainly be achieved by the capacity of the voting strength from the area.

Recall that Nekede have released alot quantity of lands to Imo state Government and are expecting more integration into the mainstream of governance and decision making in Governor Uzodinma’s administration.

Several structures spoke in support of Uzodinma’s second term at the converge of who -is -who in Nekede, while charging all voters in Nekede to vote All Progressives Congress on the Governorship Election ballot paper, to usher in Uzodinma’s victory.

On charter of Equity, Nekede people resolved to chat the course more fervently pointing at it’s importance, development and benefits to Owerri zone.

The convener TACCO group, expressed happiness on the understanding established by Nekede people to vote the incumbent Governor Hope Uzodinma en-masse.

Leaders like Professor Mezieobi, High Chief Kemas, Ujunwa Okere, Baba Ukwu Victor Osuji, Zanders Kennedy, Elder Chime, Lady Treasure Ahanonu, Hon Madoka, Tusa, Lister Okpe, Nekede council of Elders, Town Chairmen and Youth leaders APC Party Executives led by Hon Chikadibia Okpe, Amb Princely Ugochukwu Onyenwe, Women Groups, structural heads, support groups were all in agreement to this call on Nekede declaration.
