The Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) and the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) held a strategic meeting.
The gathering held on Tuesday, involved discussions focused on fostering partnerships that will drive sustainable growth, create new opportunities, and position Nigeria as a top global tourism destination.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive of NEXIM, Mr. Abba Bello, and the Director-General of NIHOTOUR, Aare Abisoye Fagade, led the meeting, alongside key executives including NEXIM’s Executive Director of Business Development, Hon. Stella Okotete, and Executive Director of Corporate Services, Mr. Ibrahim Gaga. Senior management staff from both institutions were also in attendance.
Recognizing the crucial role of tourism in economic development, both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to leveraging their resources and expertise to support the sector.
The partnership is expected to pave the way for innovative initiatives, strengthen local businesses, and empower stakeholders in the industry.
