Ekiti State was a Wonderful State to behold as Speakers at the Gathering of the Political SUMMIT in the State vowed to initiate the Spirit that will Guarantee Adequate INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT in the Region.
While speaking at the Reception Organized for the National Officers of the SUMMIT late after the Ekiti Program, Pa. Adojutelegan who is from ONDO STATE lamented that the South West States were the less Developed in terms of Infrastructure. He singled out Lagos State which has slight Developmental Changes because of the foresight of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and subsequent Governments after him.
Speaking at the Ekiti State Summit, the Representative of the Chief Host Chief Kayode Oke, Dipo Ogun Kayode aka Atupa, who was also a Governorship Aspirant in the State lamented the absence of Basic Infrastructures, especially Roads in most States in the Region. He therefore called for Cooperation among Yorubas to Speak with one voice and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR to achieve his Renewed Hope Agenda.
The NIGERIA POLITICAL SUMMIT SOUTHWEST CONVENER, Amb. Dr. Adewale Adeogun while reading the Release and the Objectives of the SUMMIT to the Press thanked the Organising Committee led by Otunba Dr Ronke Kolade Carew for a wonderful job well done. He also thanked the Local Committee in Ekiti State led by Prof. Jacob Alofe Oludare who at the shortest of time organized a wonderful SUMMIT though other Speakers from Ekiti had demanded that the National Coordinating Team must revisit Ekiti State.
The Team in Ekiti vowed to massively support this wonderful initiative and promised that the State Government will be fully involved.
The Acting South West Coordinator of the Program Dr. Samson Bilesanmi used the Opportunity to appreciate all our Hosts from both Ondo and Ekiti States for their Hospitality during our Stay in both States. He also thanked the CONVENER for this Vision and gave Kudos to the Organising Committee led by Otunba Dr Ronke Kolade Carew.
Other National Officers in the Team included Hon. Wale Fasade, Comrade Abiodun Victoria Alade, Ambassador Tope Kukoyi, Hon. Adewale Justus Ademola, Hon. Yinka Alabi, Princess Iji Aiyeola, Dr. Sola Agboola, Engineer Akingbogun, Hon. Prince Wale Aladeoba, Hon. Sulaimon Oyediran, Alhaja Bolanle Afekoja and a host of others.
When Speaking to round off his apeech, the CONVENER, Amb. Dr. Adewale Adeogun JAKADAN AREWA (Ambassador of Peace) thanked Almighty God and his Team for the Success of this Initiative and promised to continue with the remaining States in the coming Year. He equally thanked Her Excellency, Arabinrin Akeredolu for her Hospitality. He then pledged that the SUMMIT would draw all Sons and Daughters of Yoruba Race together for the Success of the Renewed Hope Agenda of our Principal President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. He also advised all our Political Heavyweights both Elected and Appointed in the Region to see to the welfare of Leaders and Members of Various Support Groups in the Region.
The SUMMIT Coordinators had earlier visited the Ooni of Ife, HRM, Oba Enitan ADEYEYE OONI of OODUA and Appointed King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, the MAYEGUN OODUA and the Olori Omooba Akile Ijebu as National Patron of the PROJECT.
