Paystack co-founder, Shola Akinade has bought a 55% stake in Danish second division club, Aarhus Fremad who are currently top of the league and are on course for promotion to the top division.
Shola who is an IT billionaire is a Nigerian, and the fifth foreigner to own a club in Denmark.
The IT guru founded Nigerian National League side, Sporting Lagos in 2022 and he is to have a partnership with the Danish club as a Launchpad for young Nigerian players to move to Europe.
The deal would also help Sporting Lagos build some sporting principles and set up academy.
