Nigerian lawyer, husband, and two children die in auto crash

Stephanie Angbiandoo, a Benue based lawyer, her husband, Victor Agbian Tyohemba, and her two children, Agnes Ngohide and Immaculate Sesughter, have died in a fatal car accident along Akwanga – Abuja Highway.

The tragic incident occurred on January 4, 2025, while the family was returning to Abuja after spending the holiday season in Benue State.

According to reports, their vehicle was involved in a collision, leading to the death of all four family members.

The bodies of the victims were laid to rest on Monday January 6, 2025,in Igbor, Gwer Local Government Area of Benue State, where friends, relatives and colleagues gathered to pay their final respects.

The devastating loss has left the community in deep shock and mourning.

Tributes have poured in from friends and professional associates, who described the late Stephanie as a dedicated legal professional and a loving mother.

Many have expressed their grief, emphasizing the tragic nature of the incident and offering prayers for the departed souls.

Authorities have yet to release further details regarding the cause of the accident, but the tragedy has sparked renewed calls for improved road safety measures along Akwanga-Abuja axis, a route known for frequent accidents.
