A Nigerian man made a significant sacrifice to attend an interview examination with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Limited, choosing to miss his own wedding as both events fell on the same day.
An X user, @young_engr_ shared the story, revealing that the man’s wedding and recruitment exam fell on the same day, but he prioritized the exam, missing his wedding.
His decision earned him the nickname “Angon NNPC”, meaning (groom of NNPC) from his colleagues.
Fortunately, he secured the job by merit, without any connections.
