Aliyu Obobo, resident of Jos, Plateau State and one of the most celebrated Nigerian, who travelled to Saudi Arabian Kingdom in a bicycle is dead.
Obobo reportedly died at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) in Jos, after a prolonged illness.
Recalled that Obobo as he was popularly called set out to Saudi Arabia in 2021 on his bicycle where he passed through many African countries, he finally arrived the Holy land late 2022 where he met with Nigerian Consulates in Jeddah and other Nigerians in Saudi Arabia.
However, he returned to Nigeria by flight after successfully performing Umrah in Saudi Arabia.
Details of his demise is still sketchy as at the time of this report as a source who posted his demise on Facebook, said he was sick and on admission in JUTH before his death.
“I only know he was sick, admitted and died at JUTH”, the source said.
