Victoria Ogunremi, a Nigerian-American woman has been praised for her honesty and kindness after returning $5,700 she found in a toilet at her workplace in New Jersey, United States.
Ogunremi, in a telephone interview with News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, said her decision to return the money was driven by concern for the person who lost it.
She stated that her Christian faith and beliefs, as well as her late father’s teachings on moral upbringing, inspired her actions.
