Nigeria’s annual inflation rises to 17.1 percent in July, food prices almost triple

LAGOS (Reuters) – Nigeria’s annual inflation rose to 17.1 percent in July from 16.5 percent in June, the country’s statistics office said.

Food inflation rose to 15.8 percent in July from 15.3 percent the previous month, the office added.
