The Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has revealed plans to partner with an international petrochemicals distribution company, Vinmar Group, to export Dangote polypropylene to global markets.
The refinery began 25 kg polypropylene to global markets. The refinery began 25kg polypropylene production in March for the local market.
Nigeria currently imports 90% of its annual polypropylene requirements, amounts to 259 metric tonnes per year.
The Dangote facility says it seeks to not only meet local demand but also become a net exporter.
