Senator Dino Melaye has taken precious time out of his busy schedules, which includes taking celebrity-style show-off photos for his social media fans, to send a forewarning timely counsel to Nigerian president Mohammaed Buhari regarding impending fresh #EndSars protests.
Senator Dino Melaye known by his social media label as SDM took to his social media minutes ago to send the advice to the Buhari in response to the president’s threat that he will not tolerate any more #EndSars protests in the country.
Dino Melaye tweeted : “My advice to President Buhari on threats to Endsars protesters. Though force can protect in emergency, only justice, fairness, consideration and cooperation can finally lead men to the dawn of eternal peace. Protest is an inalienable right. SDM”
Recall that president Buhari had issued a statement after the bloody quashed #EndSars protests, and said that he will do whatever it takes to ensure that there is no repeat of EndSARS protests in Nigeria again. The president also made a newer statement via twitter saying that he will not tolerate hoodlums taking advantage of peaceful protest to cause trouble in the country.
Yesterday the Presidential twitter handle of the Nigeria @NGRPresident tweeted: “President @MBuhari today in Abuja warned that any act of hooliganism hiding behind lawful and peaceful protests will be dealt with decisively to ensure peace and stability in the country.”
