No fewer than 15 legal practitioners in Nasarawa State have formed a Committee to seek justice for 24-year-old Salome Eleojo Adaidu, a Corps Member murdered by her estranged lover, Timileyin Ajayi.
The Convener of #Justice4Salome Campaign, Ogbason Arenso, announced this on Tuesday January 21, 2025 in a statement. According to Arenson, the Committee will work with the country’s law enforcement agencies to ensure justice.
She commended her learned colleagues for their sacrifices, noting that it will never go unrewarded.
The Campaign Convener also extend her gratitude to the relevant authorities involved in the case.
“While we work tirelessly to ensure justice is done, we strongly advise the public to shield their sword as the right thing would be done. The law has procedure and due process must be followed.
“We also advise the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately. Let justice be done, though heaven falls (Fiat Justitia, rust caelum)”, the statement reads further.
The Committee include Alaku Dennis, Lafia NBA Chairman, Haruna Favour, Keffi NBA Chairman and Isaac Akpomoshi, Chairman Nasarawa State University Keffi, NSUK, Law Alumni.
Others are Ayiwulu Baba Ayiwulu, Alex Epu, Eyyazo Daniel Afakpo, Wanche Christian Magani, James Babe, Philip Agbu, Abunya Rex Felix, Ishaku Lambaga, Rashidat Aliyu Kana and Joyce Anzewu.
