Delegates from Nnewi North, Nnewi South & Ekwusigo federal constituency has endorsed Chief Ndubusi Nwobu (Obuka Awka) second term PDP state Chairmanship ambition
The endorsement which came during the Pre-congress and interaction visit of chief Ndubusi Nwobu to the party delegates in Nnewi federal constituency.
Chief Ndubusi while addressing the party delegates stated how much he has achieved starting from his time as a local government council Chairman in Awka South years back.
He went further to state that he is a business man and the owner of the popular hotel in Awka known as De-Geo gold suits and only plays politics secondary which is geared towards developing our people and deepening internal democracy in party politics.
Obuka Awka ended by mentioning names of the five principal Local Government executives and asked if it was the one Party members voted for which response was affirmative and joy eroding the whole atmosphere.
The various local government party leaders while responding to chief Ndubusi said that the federal constituency will back him to complete the good work he has started by stabilizing PDP in Anambra state.
Chief Olisa Metuh, the longest serving PDP NEC member in Nigeria, who was represented by lady Carol Agwuncha while giving a goodwill message told delegates that the leader is solidly behind stabilizing the party and has also resolved to support anything geared towards the growth of the PDP in Anambra state.
The Nnewi North PDP chairman Prince Ifeamuma Orizu commended the good Job of Chief Ndubusi Nwobu and equally made a huge sum of donation towards his successful emergence ahead of Saturdays Congress.
In the same vein, Nnewi North PDP presented Comrade Justina Nwafor as it’s consensus Candidate for the state woman leadership position which was microzoned to the local government.
Comrade Justina Nwafor, while thanking the party delegates stated that she will not fail in delivering and improving the welfare of women in Anambra PDP.
Other leaders who were also present at the event was Rt Hon Onyebuchi Ofor who made huge donations unbehalf of Ekwusigo local government and Hon Johnbosco Akaegbobi who said that it’s time for delegates to pay back Chief Nwobu for his great works and the stabilization he has brought to the party during his first tenure.
Lady Anaemene Juliet (Ada Ozubulu) who sponsored the preparation of Pre-congress held at Anaedo hall told delegates that she is only supporting Obuka Awka because of his antecedent in building a formidable party. She ended by thanking delegates for attending such an event and will be grateful if they extends such gesture at the Saturday’s congress by voting For Chief Ndubusi Nwobu and others in line with the micro-zoning as established by our leaders.
The pre congress/ endorsement event held at Nnewi saw the presence of lady Carol Agwuncha (Who represented Chief Olisa Metuh), Rt Hon Onyebuchi Ofor, Hon Johnbosco Akaegbobi, HE Chief Ifedi Okwenna (Fmr Governorship Aspirant), the Three Local Government Area party Chairmen, Comrade Justina Nwafor (Anambra State PDP Aspirant) Former/present PDP state executives officers, Lady Juliet Anaemena, Chief Jeff Okeke (state publicity secretary Aspirant) and leaders / stakeholders from the federal constituency.
