In a bid to ensure that Owerri Capital Development Authority,(OCDA) becomes more productive and efficient, the Special Adviser/General Manager of the Agency Engr. Francis Chukwu has reinstated that his OCDA led Administration runs an open door policy so as to achieve positive goals at the Agency.
This, he diclosed while addressing selected On Air Personalities in the State and 9News Nigeria correspodents who paid him a courtesy visit on Wednesday.
According to Engr. Chukwu, OCDA under his watch operates with clear Human Face and runs an open door policy as he and his team are always ready to welcome ideas for optimal results in the Agency, adding that from inception he has remained committed to working in synergy with collaborating agencies, professional bodies, the media, different groups while believing that greater success can always be achieved together.
Presenting his scorecard in office to the Media Personalities, the OCDA helmsman re-echoed that Gov. Hope Uzodimma gave him the mandate of sanitizing and restoration of public confidence in the activities of the Agency. He told them to use their various platforms to inform, educate and enlighten Imolites about the activities of the OCDA.
“It is my wish and desire that we will continue to partner together in the area of consistently making our people knowledgeable on the things they need to know for them to be properly guided at every point in time and hopefully they will do the right things at all times for us to restore Owerri Capital Territory to its place of pride”. Engr. Chukwu stated.
Reacting, Mr. Jerry Osuji,(Orient FM), Solomon Onu,(Hot Fm),all poured encomiums on OCDA General Manager for the prompt interface with the presenters just as they pledged their support to the sanitization of OCDA, and urged that more sponsored radio awareness should be carried out.
