The Management of Ogun State Institute of Technology Igbesa has declared a week break for all students in the institution as a result of the mayhem amongst non students cult groups in the community.

In a communique released by the school management, “ It has come to the notice of the institutue’s Management, that the mayhem that started a week around igbesa community amongst some non students cult groups has persisted and has reached dimension such that is capable of jeopardizing the safety and security of our dear students”.

“While it is instructive to inform that the Management has embarked on a steam of measures to ensure that our students are safe, the seeming intractability of the crises has left the Management with no option than to declare a one week break for all students starting from today Wednesday, 20th March, 2024”.

This is to ensure that the security and safety of our dear students is not in anyway compromised.

It is important for all students to vacate their respective hostels and head home to their respective parents.

It was also gathered that Normal Academic Activities shall resume on Tuesday, 26th March, 2024.

The management also stressed that they would stop at nothing to secure the security and safety of our students and staff members.
