Ogun State Gov Abiodun Signs 2025 Appropriation Bill Into Law

OGUN: The Governor of Ogun State Nigeria, His Excellency Dapo Abiodun has officially signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill into law, solidifying his administration’s commitment to advancing the State’s development agenda.

Meanwhile , the budget is titled the “Budget of Hope and Prosperity,” which aims to drive sustainable growth, improve service delivery, and foster inclusive development across all sectors of the state as 9News Nigeria reports.

The Governor while signing the bill emphasized the budget’s focus on consolidating progress in critical areas such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and industrialization.

Governor Abiodun further noted that the Bill will also open new pathways for economic growth and human capital development in Ogun State.

In His words, “This budget represents the collective aspirations of the people of Ogun State. It embodies our unwavering commitment to delivering on our promises and ensuring every resource is utilized effectively for the benefit of all”.

Governor Abiodun commended the Ogun State House of Assembly for their dedication and timely passage of the budget, describing their efforts as a testament to their shared vision for the state’s progress.

As the implementation phase begins, the Governor assured citizens of his administration’s steadfast commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance. He urged all stakeholders to support the government in actualizing the goals of the 2025 budget.

The “Budget of Hope and Prosperity” is poised to propel Ogun State toward greater economic stability and enhanced quality of life, reinforcing its position as a leader in sustainable development.

Recall that the Budget of Hope and Prosperity as the Governor had earlier tagged Ogun State year 2025 appropriation bill during the signing ceremony that took place at the Governor’s Office in Abeokuta is targeted at improving developments and increasing the economical hub in Ogun.
