Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana, and striker Vincent Aboubakar has been excluded from the country’s provisional squad for the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON), marking a major shake-up in the indomitable Lions camp.
The decision comes despite Onana having stated all 15 matches, keeping nine clean sheets over that period.
The squad overhaul follows a turbulent week of Cameroon football. Head coach Marc Brys have been relieved of his duties, just 48:hours after Cameroonian legend Samuel Eto’o was re-elected as president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT).
