In what looks like a challenge to his adversaries over performance in their respective office since they came to political lamplight, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has today promised to build a pastoral centre and a hostel block at the St Joseph Catholic College in Aba, Abia State.

In his official Facebook page monitored by 9News Nigeria, Senator Kalu disclosed the donation saying:

“In commemoration of today’s Palm Sunday which commemorates the entrance of Christ into Jerusalem, I attended Christ the King Cathedral Parish early this morning ,Aba. His crucifixion marks the beginning of the Holy Week, the final week of Lent”.

“In my company were my brother Hon. Mascot Uzor Kalu, DG /CEO Hon Chidia Maduekwe Nigerian Film Coporation and my aides”.

“I reinstated my commitment to construct a block for the Catholic pastoral centre worth 50 million naira and a hostel block for the St. Joseph Catholic college, to ease the stress of the students”.
