…physician’s fear confirmed by Deputy Gov, Shaibu
Reports reaching our news desk say the personal physician of former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has raised alarm over the ex-governor’s failing health.
The doctor’s fear validates earlier claim made by the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, who said on CHANNELS Television that Oshiomhole was exhibiting symptoms that he was mentally unstable.
“Oshiomhole is my father, but he has started showing some signs that he is not stable and in due time, we will take him to a place where people like that are taken care of,” Shaibu said
A competent family source said the doctor has advised Oshiomhole to cut down on his activities and stop the consumption of alcohol and activity-enhancement drugs.
According to the source, “the doctor said he is worried that Oshiomhole is wearing himself out with the electioneering campaign, and exposing himself to the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, because he goes on sometimes without wearing face mask and he is always in crowded environment. He has a condition we are treating, and he should know better that COVID-19 is claiming the lives of more elderly people than young people in Nigeria.”
