The Senator representing Osun East, Senator Babajide Omoworare said APC is like an orphan in Ife and that the party is struggling to get votes but importantly ensuring that APC will not suffer huge defeat from Ife.
“In Ife, our party, the APC is like an orphan. The candidate of SDP is from Ife and the deputy governorship candidate of PDP is from Ife. The people tend to be wondering what APC will offer Ife. We are just struggling to get appreciable votes and prevent our party from suffering too much defeat from Ife.
“Like in football, Ife is the goalkeeper in this election, if we concede too much goal from here, it will affect our success in other areas.”
