_LET’S BE VERY CAREFUL.(Ìkìlò Pàtàkí fuń gbogbo Ẹnít’ó l’étí)__HIV/AIDS IS REAL AND SPREADING FAST__The Root cause (Ìdí Abájò)_
The term “cause” refers to the underlying reason that triggers a particular event or outcome, whether positive or negative.
As the saying goes, “nothing happens without a cause.” For instance, the motive behind robbery is typically financial gain, while the purpose of marriage is to build a life together. However, when analyzing the root cause of an event, we must dig deeper.
If an armed robber dies during a heist, the apparent cause of death might be listed as “gunshot.” But is that the actual root cause?
Arguably, the true cause is the desire for money that led to the robbery.
Similarly, when engaging in extramarital affairs, the primary motivation is often “enjoyment.”
But let us not forget the wise words: “Ikuń ńnjẹ ògẹdẹ, Ikuń ńre ìdi, ìkuń kò mò pé ohun to duń ní ńpa ní.” (Be careful what you wish for, as it may come with unintended consequences.)
In light of this, let us exercise caution in our daily lives. When getting a haircut, insist on a new blade or a sterilized clipper and other barbing utensils. When receiving an injection, request a new needle from your nurse.
And, when trimming your nails, stop patronizing the “Àbókí/Malla” due to their unhygienic nature. If you must use their services, please go with your personal nail cutter.
Rumors suggest that medication for AIDS patients has become increasingly expensive, which carries ominous implications. If you want to engage in certain immoral activities just to satisfy your uncontrolled sexual urge, take necessary precautions to avoid blaming the wrong cause.
Remember, AIDS is a real and present threat. Please be warned: prioritize your safety and well-being.Enough said, a word is enough for the wise!
