In a world where young minds seek inspiration and guidance, the Oyokopa Business and Career Conference in Ibadan, Oyo State, stands out as a beacon of hope for over 5,000 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members.

This eye-opening event brought together dignitaries who shared their knowledge and experience with corp members. Below are the highlights of the event.

The venue was filled with youths from different parts of the state with the aim of learning life experiences that will equip them with necessary skills and information to succeed in their chosen endeavors.

The conference revolved around four major spheres; the career space, the tech space, the business landscape and the creative space.

The conference had a rich variety of speakers and panelists from all works of life which included people like Dr.. Seun Fakorede, Babatunmise, Dr. Olufunke Adetuberu, Dr. Olayinka Odutola, Dotun Popoola and many others.

. These eminent personalities shared their experiences, insights, and success stories, providing invaluable guidance to the corps members. One of the most significant aspects of the Oyokopa Conference was the networking and mentorship opportunities it provided.

Corps members had the chance to interact with the speakers, panelists, sponsors, and fellow attendees.

A lot of corp members enjoyed access to internship and job opportunities. Over 1,000 corp members also gained access to free trainings on data analysis, programming, coding, web development and product management.

The event also empowered 3 corp members owned businesses with a sum of one million naira (1,000,000) through a business pitch competition.

The conference also partnered with various media houses including BBC, NTA, BCOS, AIT, Diamond FM, Naija FM, 9news Nigeria and many others. The conference will be having it’s Ogbomosho edition later in the year and it promises to be as impacting as it’s maiden edition.
