Pass Laws, You Will Be Proud Of Tomorrow, Gov Fubara Tells Lawmakers

The Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has encouraged lawmakers to enact legislation they can be proud of after leaving office.

During a meeting with the National Assembly Joint Committee on Electoral Matters at the Government House in Port Harcourt, Gov. Fubara emphasized the positive changes in Rivers State.

He highlighted the state’s improved organization, security, and purposeful leadership, and encouraged lawmakers to be ambassadors of Rivers State, sharing these successes with others and showcasing the state’s progress.

He said, Never Pass laws that benefit your interest but laws that benefit the interest of the people, who sent you to represent them.
