PDP CHAIRMAN, LEADERS, BoTS, STAKEHOLDERS AND DELEGATES, YOU HAVE TODAY BEING WEDNESDAY THE 23rd of JUNE 2021 THROUGH THE 26th SATURDAY EARLY MORNING TO DECIDE TO TAKE OVER AGU AWKA OR WAIT FOR ANOTHER 8 YEARS TO MAKE IT 24 YEARS BEFORE THE PARTY RETURNS TO AGU AWKA AGAIN.
By this time, most of you would have retired from active politics or may have lost interest as a result of old age or via many other ways because no one can predict the future and what will happen.
Therefore capitalize on this golden opportunity given to you by God to rescue Anambra state from its sinking state and ensure that a credible and a visionary leader who will navigate the sinking ship to safety emerges as the winner.
Money is not everything and everything is not money, forget that chicken change and get Anambra working again by supporting the person that has the capacity to work tirelessly for the State like former Governor H.E Peter Obi, a committed, faithful and a prudent administrator. Support the one whose Value, Integrity, Competence, Capacity rating and Political experience can not be overemphasized. A personality that has been within the government and can steer and navigate the sinking ship of Anambra state to safety.
PDP State Leaders, BoTs, stakeholders, delegates etc . It’s high time you decide on your own to make the dream of our party to return to Agu Awka a reality after 16 years of absence. You can do it in your lifetime, it’s possible, because you have the chance to do it now, but the question is, are you willing to let go of monetary and personal gains so PDP will win??? or are you rather going to allow the state to drown while chasing shadows??? The choice is yours.
You should count it a very wonderful Privilege and a great task for you to fulfill purpose in life by doing the right thing for the right cause. Seeing Yourselves among the power brokers of our state today that will either make or mar our beloved State is not by accident and not a means to make money or to enrich yourself, rather you were chosen at this point in time to ensure that PDP’s 16 wasted years comes to an abrupt end. You can do it!!
Some of you may have been secretly promised political posts before now, one thing or the other as the case may be so that you will compromise. Please think twice my friend, before you cast your vote because money is not everything.
Think of it, can this chicken money they promised to give you so you can support them, CHANGE your life, the life of your wife, that of your children and our beloved State???? Anyone, giving you money to vote for him or her, wants to mortgage your future and that of your children when he or she assumes the office. Listen to your heart, allow your Spirit to guide you on who to vote for on that day.
Remember all that glitters is not gold. They will promise you heaven and earth but as soon as they are sworn in, you become a Mr and Mrs nobody (chaff).
As you can see at the moment, the rot in PDP leadership, the mess everywhere, some factions want their man to pick the ticket, some want to use court injunctions, some wants the aspirant they are loyal to, to win by all means and at all cost and they are not even bothered if this aspirant is credible, if he or she can win election, if he or she knows the political terrain of our beloved state Anambra.
These are the questions you should ask yourselves before you cast your vote on the 26th.
If we continue this way of money politics and money bags and the highest bidder takes it, it will be bad for PDP and this will cost our party a serious image damage and will make PDP our party to wait for another 24 years before returning to power. Your actions or inaction on the day of the decision (26th June 2021) will determine the number of years PDP will wait before getting to Agu Awka if they select the wrong candidate.
PDP Anambra chapter please brace up and change the political narratives in this state by voting for an astute administrator, a prudent, honest and a humble man. Remember that 26th of June will be the day to either make history with PDP Anambra state chapter or forever mar the party in the political space of the State.
