‪Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Umar Damagum said he wished for a woman to become the next president of Nigeria.‬

During the PDP International Women’s Day 2024 event at their Abuja headquarters, the party’s National Chairman, Damagun, highlighted the need for female leadership in Nigeria, emphasizing the failures of male leadership.

Represented by the PDP National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu, Damagum urged for a woman to become the next President of Nigeria, underscoring the significance of International Women’s Day in advancing gender equality across various spheres.
