Governors elected under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have publicly agreed to work with President Bola Tinubu.
This was made in a communique obtained by 9NEWS NIGERIA after their emergency meeting on Tuesday.
Bauchi State Governor read the communique on behalf of the Governors and refused to mention Atiku Abubakar who contested under PDP.
The communique read on parts ;
(1) They commended President Tinubu for his leadership role in addressing the crisis in River State
(2) They congratulated the President for winning his tribunal case
(3) They appreciated the President for the professional manner the judiciary conducted itself, considering that PDP governors all won their cases at the tribunal without interference from the President.
(4) They mentioned that President Tinubu had shown he was a president for everybody, a president for PDP and APC, and mentioned he did not use his sledge hammer to extricate them from the scheme of things.
(5) They pledged to work with President Tinubu to bring good governance to the people of Nigeria.
