The South-South Chief -Editor of 9News Nigeria, Amb Emmalex David Atseyinku, who is one of the leaders in the disabled community, told our correspondent during an interview with him, that they are not aware of the former vice-president of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s endorsement as their sole- candidate for the upcoming presidential election 2023.
Amb Emmalex said the rumors floating in the media space that persons living with disability (PWD) Niger Delta Region have endorsed Atiku Abubakar should be disregarded, that when it’s time to endorse we shall choose our candidate when we are done with our proper consultations.
He said persons living with disability Niger Delta Region are not ready to make another mistake, which was made in 2015 and 2019, so we need to think twice before embarking on any endorsement.
Those persons living with disability (PWD) who visited the former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar at his Abuja residence are not speaking for all, they are merely speaking for themselves, not the Disabled Community.
