Plateau State Government has kick-started a science and technology contest tagged Hackathon, the very first if its kind to empower participants, and eventual winners to develop and grow innovative technology for problem-solving.
This is with a view to addressing pressing local and global challenges.
The initiative focuses on key sectors which includes education, agriculture, food security, waste management, and climate change.
The Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Professor Goselle Nanjul says the Committee’s objectives is to foster innovation and enhance female participation in technology among others.
