Plateau State Government has announced a further relaxation of the curfew imposed on Jos North Local Government Area following what authorities described as improved and satisfactory security situation in the area and its environs.
In a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Rt. Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap, the decision was reached after consultations with security agencies.
Effective Wednesday, May 13, 2026, the curfew will now be observed daily from 10:00 p.m to 5:00a.m.
Residents have been urged to continue complying strictly with the directive, cooperate with security agencies, remain vigilant, and report any suspicious activities to relevant authorities.
The government also appreciated citizens for their understanding, patience, and support toward maintaining peace and security across the state.
