An armed robbery suspect, Daniel Samuel has been arrested by Police Operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command.
The suspect, a 26-year-old resident of Aso Pada, was arrested by Police Operatives of the Mararaba ‘A’ Division during a stop and search operation at Kabayi, Karu Local Government Area of the State.
Ramhan Nansel, the State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, confirmed the arrest in a statement on Sunday afternoon.
Açcording to Nansel, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, one locally fabricated Barretta Pistol and one live ammunition were recovered from the suspect as exhibit.
The State Police Spokesman added that the suspect has made useful statements and effort to trail and arrest other members of the syndicate is ongoing.
Meanwhile, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada has ordered that the 26- year-old suspect ‘be charged to Court’ for prosecution when investigation is concluded.
