Police arrests four suspected criminals, recovers stolen vehicle in Nasarawa

Operatives of Nasarawa State Police Command have arrested four suspected armed robbers and recovered a stolen vehicle in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Ramhan Nansel who confirmed the arrests in the State on Sunday, October 6, 2024 said; Salim Hussain, Abdulkadir Musa, and Dimas Danja were arrested by operatives attached to the Maraba ‘A’ Division, while another suspect, Mohammed Aliyu Abubakar, was nabbed in the New Karu Area.

According to the Police Spokesman, the suspects confessed to belonging to a gang oof armed robbers terrorizing Mararaba and its environs.

Nansel added that a fabricated rifle, a knife, and criminal charms were recovered during the first operation, while a blue Toyota Camry with registration number RBC 980 DA was recovered from Abubakar, a resident of the Mabushi area of Abuja.

“The Commissioner of Police, has called on the owner of the stolen vehicle to visit New Karu Area Command with proof of ownership to claim the recovered vehicle”, the statement reads further.
