The Nigerian police has on Friday arrested about 3 rustlers in the state for allegedly stealing about 1000 cows in Falgore Forest situated at the Kiru L.G.A. of Kano.
The suspect names are Lawan Mohammad, 25 years, of Damau Village, Kaduna State, Sa’idu Abdullahi, 23 years, of Soba Local Government Area of Kaduna State, and Suleman Abdullahi, 30 years, of Damau Village Kaduna State.
Mr Ahmed Iliyasu, the state Commissioner of Police in Kano, told the news crew that he was the 3 notorious rustlers were arrested by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) team of the state of Operation Puff-Adder with some members of Miyetti Allah in Falgore Forest.
While interviewing the suspects they said that their crimes led Puff-Adder Operatives to various locations within the Falgore Forrest were more than 1,000 cows were recovered.
The police said on an interview: “Two AK47 Rifles with 110 rounds of live ammunition, Three Pump Action Rifles with 22 live cartridges, Two Military Camouflage Uniforms and four cell phones were also recovered,”
The efforts of the Inspector-General of Police of the State, Mohammed Adamu, was commended for his encouragement and guidance to officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force in-line with the directives and principles of the Anti-Crime machine of Operation Puff-Adder.
