The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Engr. Dr. M.C. Arimanwa has paid an inspection visit to the second campus of the institution at Abaezi Egbema.
The visit was targetted at preparation for the formal handover of the campus for immediate commencement.
The Rector paid the official visit last in company of the Principal Officers of the polytechnic who witnessed the tour.
Arimanwa went round the site to ascertain the quantum of work put up by workers in the place.
Speaking with the Site engineer, the Rector was detailed on the progress of work so far recorded.
There was also the polytechnic committee on the clean-up of the campus led by the Poly Librarian, Dr. Charles Obichere, who was on ground to note observations made by the Rector.
The formal handover ceremony is expected to take place as soon while the Progress of work continues in speed.
It is expected of the institution to synchronize to the standard of which Federal Polytechnic Nekede is known.
However the establishment of Federal Polytechnic Nekede campus 11 in Egbema is a welcome development applauded by the people of Imo state Nigeria.
