With the North been thrown into a blackout for days following the vandalism of some transmission lines, the Federal Government says it is working on an Independent Super Grid for each of the 19 Northern States in Nigeria.
Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu made this known after a meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday in Abuja.
According to him, the President directed that repair works be sped up to restore power to the Northern part of Nigeria, a situation raising concerns among stakeholders in the region and beyond.
