It is no longer a rumour that the one-day working visit of the NIGERIAN President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR was successful and highly rated.
9News Nigeria was live at the event in Owerri, Imo state where creme de la creme of APC stakeholders, leaders and party members trooped out en-masse to welcome Mr President.
Recall that there was a sit-at-home order orchestrated by the Indigenous People of BIAFRA IPOB in the South-East zone but the order was submerged by the troops of Imolites that came out to witness the presidential visit.
Meanwhile, there is no doubt to say that GOVERNOR UZODINMA made a good record and possible efforts to pull the president to Imo state.
However the arrival of President Buhari to Owerri, the Imo State capital was to commissions projects of the Shared Prosperity administration of His Excellency the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Part of the projects commissioned is the New Exco Chamber and Banquet, built by the Shared Prosperity administration.
Prior to the completion, the State Government lacked a signature chamber and banquet for the conduct of business and entertainment of august visitors.
Driven by the commitment to reposition the state, the 3R Government hesitated not in swiftly getting to work and standing tall and beautiful today is the edifice of New Exco Chamber and Banquet.
While on inspection of these projects, Buhari expressed happiness and show of appreciation for the giant performance of Governor Hope Uzodimma since the resumption of office as the Executive Governor of Imo State.
While commissioning the New Exco Chamber and Banquet, His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari eulogized Governor Hope Uzodimma for standing on the part of posterity with his outstanding performance.
Mr President expressed confidence in Governor Hope Uzodimma and his administration as he delivers democratic dividends to the people of Imo State.

- Section one of Naze-Nekede-Ihiagwa-Obinze road.
- Flood Control Tunnel from Dick Tiger.
- Imo State Exco Complex.
- Egbeada Road Bypass.
We confirmed the deserted state of streets in the municipality, lockdown of markets and banks but the order could not stop the crowds who turned out en-masse to welcome Mr President.
On the contrary, OPPOSITIONS interviewed during the visit of Mr President by 9News Nigeria frowned at the visit and advised governor Uzodinma to embrace peace and open his large heart to unite Imo political class and improve the state for Imolites to smile again.
Summarily, it is crystal clear that the SECOND PHASE of ROAD PROJECTS and DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES captures the Nekede Ihiagwa Obinze road, Umuguma road and many others that will continue without further delay to improve the state against the urgly wishes and intentions of the OPPOSITIONISTs in Imo state.
The visit recorded a lot of dignitaries, state governors, government functionaries, APC faithful and Executives, the clergy, traditional rulers and lovers of the shared prosperity administration from all walks of life were in attendance to grace the one-day working visit of PRESIDENT BUHARI.
