Aso Rock (Abuja) – President Muhammadu Buhari @MBuhari rejoices with Alhaja Sadiat Abeke Erogbogbo, popularly known as “The Kind Teacher” who becomes 90 years old by tomorrow 7th June 2020.
Buhari sent congratulatory messages out to the renowned business woman and retired teacher as she celebrates her 90th birthday anniversary.
The President commended the nonagenarian, who is also known as ‘Kind Teacher’ and mother to All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, for her services to various generations of Nigerians, whose lives she positively touched through her teaching practice over the years.
According to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina @FemAdesina, President Buhari prayed for a sound mind and a good health for her as she crossed the line into her nineties.
“President Muhammadu Buhari rejoices with Alhaja Sadiat Abeke Erogbogbo, a retired teacher and businesswoman who turns 90 June 7, 2020.
“He felicitates with the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of the woman, who was known as ‘Kind Teacher’ in the early part of her professional life.
“A well-rounded Nigerian, Mama Erogbogbo was born in Kano in 1930, schooled in Lagos, and later taught in Kano, Lagos and Jos, where she impacted positively on the lives of students who passed through her tutelage, hence the sobriquet, ‘Kind Teacher.’
“President Buhari salutes Mama Erogbogbo, who is mother to Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, and wishes her sound mind and good health, even as she is celebrated at 90 by all those whose lives she had touched positively.
“A devout member of Ansar Ud Deen Ladies Society, the President commends the piousness of Mama Erogbogbo to the younger generation,” the statement said.
Abike Dabiri-Erewa @abikedabiri had sent a tweet on her official twitter account congratulating her mom, Mama Erogbogbo on her birthday. “Happy birthday . Mum Turns 90 tomorrow,” she tweeted.
