You Will Give Account At Kirikiri Prison If You Give Money To State Governor
President Muhammadu Buhari has on Monday warned local government council chairmen against handing over local government funds to their state governors.
The statement that was posted by a staunch supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari and APC Chieftain, Joe Igbokwe on his Facebook page said any local government council chairman that is found culpable of handing over funds to the state governor will give account at EFCC or Kirikiri maximum prison.
"You people are just wasting your time, We have sent money directly to Local Government Account this week. And if you like, withdraw the money from that account and hand over to your Governor, you will give account of it properly at EFCC or Kirikri Maximum Prison."
