Rinsola Abiola, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and daughter of the late Chief MKO Abiola, is set to host selected youth stakeholders in Ogun State for a Ramadan lecture and Iftar programme. The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in Abeokuta.
Ms. Abiola announced the event via her social media accounts on Thursday.
“The holy month of Ramadan offers a great opportunity to reflect on the teachings of Islam and remind ourselves of the divine standards to which we should aspire. Therefore…God willing, I will be hosting selected youth leaders in Abeokuta, my hometown, for Iftar. We will be exploring themes related to youth development and leadership from an Islamic perspective,” she said.
She further revealed that the lecture at the event will be delivered by Prof. Kamal-Deen Balogun, a renowned scholar and the Chief Imam of Egba Gbagura, the community from which she hails.
The event is being organised through the Rinsola Abiola Foundation, a social impact non-governmental organisation with a track record of empowering women and providing scholarships for indigent students.
