With a huge contingent of his men, Prince Vincent Okumagba, the founder and president of the Super Eagles Supporters Club (SESC), has arrived in Bordeaux to mobilize maximum support for the Nigerian Super Falcons as they begin their Olympic trip against Brazil on Thursday, July 25th in Group C.
The Prince of the Okumagba dynasty of Delta State, speaking over the phone, stated that he has forged an extremely solid alliance with Chinedu Rosa of Vines by Rosa, situated in Bordeaux, to plan Nigerians alongside the Super Eagles supporters club for significant matches.

“I’ve also been in contact with the Nigerian embassy. Our girls will have to give it their all to make it to the knockout stages, so we need all hands on deck to provide the moral support that the Super Falcons sorely need as they play alongside Brazil, Spain, and Japan in a tough group.”
Brazil defeated Nigeria 1-3 in their previous matchup at the 2008 Olympics, and Nigeria, the nine-time African champions who last competed in the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament in China in 2008 will be seeking revenge.
Nigeria’s most successful Women’s Olympic Football Tournament performance occurred in Athens 20 years ago, when the Super Falcons placed sixth after losing in the quarterfinals.
Veterans at this tournament, Brazil have appeared at every edition of the Olympics and came very close to winning gold medals twice before settling for a runners-up spot in 2004 and 2008.
