In a beautiful display of solidarity, Christians were seen protecting their Muslims brothers, while they hold prayers at the Old Airport roundabout in Jos on Thursday August 1, 2024.

As part of the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests, the Christians protesters in Jos, Plateau State, bravely shielded their Muslims colleagues while they observed their Zuhr prayers on Thursday. It is a moving show of togetherness and inter-faith cooperation.

Participants at the morning protest, which is part of a national movement calling for an end to Nigeria’s poor governance, came from a variety of religious backgrounds.

The Muslims who were protesting gathered at the demonstrating site as Zuhr prayers were about to begin.

The Christian in Jos, Plateau State capital, formed a protective Circle around their Muslim Counterparts, allowing the Muslims pray peacefully.

However, the photos capturing the moment shows the peaceful cooperative nature of the protest. It also serves as a reminder of the spirit of togetherness and unity that transcends ethnic and religious differences.
