Conglomerates of Imo youth have turned out en masse to sue openly for peace in the state and NIGERIA at large.
This move is going on at the time of this report.
Our correspondent reports that the protest is peaceful and the protesters are safe.
In the placards, the youths have stated their demands as follows: “Imo is our own” Imo belongs to all of us” “Leave governor hope alone” Peace is better than war” Unknown gunmen must be chased away” and many more.
They however appealed to the unknown gun men to stop terrorizing the State.
Imo youths also asked the security men to stop harassing and attacking innocent Imolites.
