Protest on Tuesday, beseech the Irish Department of Justice in Dublin, against a deportation order issued to a Nigerian family in south Dublin.
Titilayo Oluwakemi Oyekanmi, a Nigerian and her three sons, Samuel, Joseph and Genesis moved to Ireland from South Africa to seek asylum in late 2023 after she was reportedly beaten by a gang and threatened at gunpoint.

After their asylum application was denied, the Department of Justice issued a deportation order in April 2025, with all the members of the family expected to leave the country on Thursday (today).
However, scores of people, including school children, neighbors and friends, joined the protest in Dublin city, appealing to the department not to proceed with the deportation, adding that removing the family from the community would affect them negatively.

Also, the department received letters from many protesters, seeking to overturn the deportation order by Irish authorities.
