A prominent women’s group, the Caroline Adeneye Women Association (CAWA), has formally declared its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was made during a visit to the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja on Thursday, 19 February 2026.
The delegation comprised CAWA state coordinators from the North East, North Central, South East, and South West zones, signifying the association’s broad national structure.
The group is convened by Hon. Barr. Yeye Caroline Adeyeye, a staunch APC member and loyalist who has served and supported the party across the country.

Speaking during the visit, representatives of the association expressed strong confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership and the progress recorded under his Renewed Hope Agenda, which they noted has positively impacted women and vulnerable groups across the country.
They stated that CAWA worked tirelessly for the emergence of President Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election, mobilizing women and grassroots supporters across all regions of the country, including the Northern and Southern zones.
According to the delegation, their nationwide campaign efforts played a significant role in galvanizing support for the APC candidate at the time.
“Our association remains committed in its support for President Tinubu’s leadership and vision for sustainable national development,” the group said, adding that continuity would help consolidate ongoing reforms and deepen inclusive governance.
The association further stressed that President Tinubu’s second-term ambition aligns with its objectives of promoting women’s participation in politics, strengthening welfare policies, and ensuring wider inclusion in national participation and development.
The endorsement follows the growing wave of political and civil society support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid.
