If this was in the month of April, it would make an excellent candidate for the April Fool Prank of the Year but alas, we are in May and it is still funny because a group based in Enugu and obviously has no capacity to even be present in all major towns in South East as their name portrays, cannot afford to be in the know about issues prevalent in other places except Enugu unless they are a band of rubble rousers

Associate Professor Joseph Ugboaja has already inked his name permanently in the golden sands of time with his courageous and effective style of administration, he has elevated the status of the NAUTH complex by moving key departments to the permanent site and he has consistently run a very transparent and open door policy, totally devoid of any hanky panky and it’s derivatives. Prof Ugboaja is an expert on strategic and transformational leadership and has brought these attributes to bear in transforming the hospital.

Therefore, it’s not surprising that Prof Ugboaja emerged the overall best candidate in the recently conducted interview for the post of Chief Medical Director of NAUTH among the 10 candidates that were drawn from all over the country.

In the exercise that was conducted at merit house Abuja by a combined team of the Federal ministry of Health and NAUTH Board, Prof Ugboaja scored a total of 86.5% to come tops while the closest candidate to him scored 59.3%.

There is no doubt that the sponsors of this write ups and other petitions are individuals who do not mean well for the hospital.
