The Ogun State Commissioner for Sports Development, Hon Wasiu Isiaka has again called on football lovers in the state to troop out en-masse and support Remo Stars of Ogun State as they file out against Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa in a CAF Champions League qualifying match slated for the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Kuto Abeokuta, tomorrow, Sunday, 19th October, 2025
In a statement signed by Hon. Isiaka, he expressed excitement that Ogun state is again hosting such a monumental event .
He said the match slated to kick off at 4pm is not just a game but a celebration of the Ogun talent and culture of determination on the continental stage.
He expressed confidence that their presence and enthusiasm will undoubtedly inspire Remo stars to perform at their best and show the world the true spirit of Ogun State and Nigeria.
Isiaka noted that their unwavering support for Remo Stars has kept the club strong in Abeokuta asking them to again create such to make the atmosphere electrifying at the MKO Sports Arena
