Ronaldo Set to Extend Al Nassr Contract, Remains Football’s Top Earner

Portuguese football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly set to extend his contract with Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr.

This new development will also solidify his position as the world’s highest-paid footballer.

The Portuguese superstar’s new deal, valued at an estimated €200 million, includes €3.8 million in weekly wages and an additional €60 million from image rights.

Since joining Al Nassr, Ronaldo has been a prolific force, scoring an impressive 75 goals in 84 appearances.

His renewed contract, which will run until June 2026, aligns with his ambition of reaching 1,000 career goals, a historic milestone for any footballer.

The timing of the contract extension also positions Ronaldo for a potential appearance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a tournament widely speculated to be his last on the global stage.

Ronaldo’s impact in Saudi Arabia extends beyond the pitch, with his presence significantly boosting the league’s profile and attracting global attention to Middle Eastern football.
