RSIEC Seeks Adhoc Workers For 5th October Rivers LGA election

The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) has announced its readiness to conduct the Local Government Election on 5th October 2024. The commission is calling for suitably qualified individuals to apply as ad-hoc workers for various advertised positions.

For category 1, RSIEC is seeking individuals who will work as Local Government Returning Officers (LGROs), Ward Returning Officers (WROs), Presiding Officers (POs), and Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs). Interested persons must have a university degree, be computer literate, and have previous experience in the field, which will be considered an added advantage.

For category 2, interested applicants are invited to apply as Polling Clerks (PCs) and Assistant Poll Clerks (APCs). Applicants should hold NCE, OND, WASC, GCE, SSCE, or NECO qualifications, be computer literate, and have previous experience in the field, which will be considered an added advantage.

All interested applicants are encouraged to visit the Commission’s website at www.rsiec.rv.gov.ng to fill out application forms and upload copies of their credentials by Wednesday, 18th September 2024.
