
Timileyin Ajayi, 32-year-old suspected killer of Miss Salome Adaidu Eleojo, a female Corps Member has reportedly denied a written statement presented for the court by the prosecution.
The murder suspect disclosed this during a cross examination before Justice Simon Aboki of Nasarawa State High Court sitting in Lafia recently.
He also disassociate himself on the statement, stressing that he can’t remember appending his signature.
Speaking further, the suspect said the only thing he remember was the good moment he had with the deceased and when he woke up in the hospital bed in Lafia.
When contacted, a member of the prosecution team said the denial came at wrong time as he ought to have done that during tendering the written statement.
He however noted that the murder suspect admitted all the preliminary facts in the written statement like the school he attended among others.
Meanwhile, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Nasarawa State, Barrister Hauwa Samuel Jugbo has wowed to leave no stone unturned in securing justice for the victim.
