The Senegalese Football Federation raised serious concerns over organizational issues ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final.
The Football Federation is accusing Morocco of deliberate attempts to sabotage the AFCON final between the two teams scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2026.

In a strong worded statement, Senegal alleged a series of orchestrated setbacks from inadequate security upon arrival at the Rabat train station to major difficulties with ticketing, stadium access, and hotel accommodation, exposing players and staff to crowding and security risks, FSF says are unacceptable for a crucial continental final.
FSF had to formally protest to secure proper hotel accomodation for the national team.
Senegal is now calling on CAF and Local Organizing Committee to step in, address the failures and ensure fair play, equal treatment, and proper security for all involved.
